RICHARD LOCHHEAD LAUNCHES CHRISTMAS CARD DESIGN COMPETITION

PRIMARY AGED CHILDREN ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT ENTRIES

Moray MSP, Richard Lochhead, has launched his Charity Christmas Card Design Competition, which is open to all primary school aged children in Moray.  The winning design will be used for Richard’s Christmas Cards.

The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Peace’ and this year’s nominated charity is Moray Food Plus.  

Richard Lochhead MSP said:

“I am really looking forward to seeing the entries for our 2022 Christmas Card competition – I’m sure we’ll receive some fantastic designs again this year.

“Each year a nominated charity working in Moray, is highlighted in the card and I hope we can raise a substantial sum for Moray Food Plus with the very generous sponsorship from Moray businesses.

“Moray Food Plus do a huge amount of work and are, unsurprisingly, but very concerningly, facing unprecedented levels of demand at the moment which is set to continue as households face a brutal cost of living crisis this winter.

“Any businesses who would like to get involved are welcome to contact my office.”

“We are very happy to be the beneficiaries of Richard Lochhead’s charity Christmas card this year.

“Demand for our foodbank service is higher than ever as we enter what is traditionally our busiest time of year. Any money raised will enable us to buy much needed stock and continue to support those in Moray who find themselves in need of our services.”
