LOCHHEAD URGES LOCAL CHILDREN TO ENTER CHAIRTY CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION
10/11/2023Moray MSP Richard Lochhead has encouraged children across Moray to enter his charity Christmas card competition ahead of the closing date next Friday (17th November).
The competition, which sees young people submit artwork to be in with a chance of fronting the card, has raised money for many local charities over the years and all proceeds from this year’s card will be donated to Moray Women’s Aid.
Children from primary schools across Moray have already been asked to submit festive deigns on the ‘local community’ theme and Mr Lochhead is encouraged young people who may be taught at home or outwith primary schools to submit their entries.
Commenting, Richard Lochhead MSP said:
“My office is already being sent some very talented designs from pupils at several schools across Moray and I’ll again be faced with a very difficult task of choosing a winner!
“I’m very pleased that schools across Moray are taking part and want to thank them for affording their pupils the chance to create artwork for the competition – my team and I have loved seeing their designs arrive at the office in the past few weeks.
“Moray Women’s Aid are a very worthy local charity and the support from so many local businesses with this initiative is very much appreciated. Any businesses who would like to get involved are welcome to contact my office.”
