LOCHHEAD COMMENTS ON ACCIDENT ON THE A96 AT BRODIE

Commenting on the road traffic accident at Brodie which has closed the A96 this afternoon, Moray’s MSP Richard Lochhead said:

"I was really concerned to hear that there had been another road traffic accident at Brodie and my thoughts are with anyone affected.

“We won’t know the cause of the accident until police and the authorities have completed their investigations and it is only right they are given the time to do so.

“I’m aware that this accident will cause further concern to local residents who’ve expressed real worries about the number of incidents in the area in recent months, something I’ve raised with Police Scotland and the roads authorities.”
