“We stand in tribute and poignant memory of those who have, and continue, to sacrifice their lives and freedom so that we may have ours.
“In service to their country, together we pay our respects.
“With all the challenges we face from terrorism and other threats, we must praise their courage and their professionalism in ensuring that peace and freedom is a right to be enjoyed by all and not a privilege for few.
“The sacrifice that they make is one we can never truly comprehend. And so, for them, we stand silent and remember.”
